In fact if electricity goes up I will use the Tesla coil and stop using electricity and get all my friends and neighbors to join my electric rebellion against the grid, I refuse to pay electric taxes, I will just simply get completely off the grid and our economy will crash and burn without us poor folks suffering cause of high energy prices.
